The top five companies accounted for 24% of patenting activity
Analysis of patenting activity by companies shows that Daicel filed the most social responsibility patents within the oil & gas industry in Q1 2024. The company filed 3 social responsibility-related patents in the quarter, compared with 1 in the previous quarter. It was followed by Wanhua Chemical Group with 2 social responsibility patent filings, Kaneka (2 filings), and Ansell (2 filings) in Q1 2024.
